Friends of Arkansas Health Center are always needed. The opportunities to serve both AHC residents and staff abound.
Who can volunteer? While anyone is potentially a volunteer through Friends of AHC, the nature of the facility requires all volunteers to have a background check and to wear a picture ID at all times while on campus. To become a volunteer, email Friends of AHC at friendsofahc@yahoo.com to state your desire to serve.
What type of volunteering is needed? Friends of AHC serve the staff and residents in many ways. If you can help with the Independence Day Festival and Fireworks Show, online auctions, cookouts, events, or landscape/gardening, you can serve at AHC.
How often will I serve? Volunteers serve as often as they choose. As oppportunities arise, notifications are sent to the volunteer base asking for assistance. Service opportunities are filled on a first come-first served basis.
